The Department of Computer Science at Baylor University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher.

The Department of Computer Science: The Department of Computer Science offers a CSAB accredited BS in Computer Science degree, a BA degree with a major in Computer Science, a BS in Informatics with a major in Bioinformatics, and a MS degree in Computer Science.  The Department has 11 faculty members, over 250 undergraduate majors and 17 graduate students.

 

Qualifications: Requirements are a Ph.D. in Computer Science or related area and a commitment to excellence in teaching and research.  Applicants must demonstrate exceptional teaching ability and research potential.  Excellent English communication skills are required.  Applicants with emphasis in operating systems, distributed systems, software engineering, and algorithms will be given preference.  Selected candidates will be expected to initiate and carry out research and to perform academic duties associated with our BSCS, BA, BSI, and MS programs.
