The Edit menu provides the following commands. Depending on the currrent status of the display, not all commands may be available.
| Undo | Undo the previous edits. Multiple undo's are permitted. |
| Redo | Reverses the effect of the most recent undo. |
| Cut | Delete the selection and place it into the clipboard. |
| Copy | Copy the selection into the clipboard. |
| Paste | Replace the selection (if any) with the contents of the clipboard. |
| Go To Line | Displays the Go To Window. Go to a specific line (first line is line 1). |
| Search | Search for a text string. Displays the Search Window. |
| Replace | Search for text and replace it with a new value. Displays the Replace Window. |
| Find Next | Repeat the last search or replace command. |
| Select All | Select all text in the current edit window. |
