The File menu contains the following commands.

| Circuit | Open a blank editor window for creating a new file. | |
| Schematic | Open a blank schematic capture window for creating a new file. | |
| Open | Open an existing file. This command will display the Open File window. | |
| Save | Save the file. If this is a new file, this command will work as if it were a Save As command. | |
| Save As | Save the file under a new name. This command displays the Save As window. | |
| Close | Close the current editor window. This command can also close the simulation and message windows. You will be prompted to save your results if necessary. | |
| Print Setup | Change printing options. This command will display the Print Setup Window. | |
| Print the current window. This command will display the Print Dialog box. | ||
| Exit | Terminate program execution. You will be prompted for unsaved files | |
